Hey, neighbors!
Looking for something to do close to home this weekend? We’ve got two downtown ideas, a new restaurant to check out, and a couple of community updates worth knowing.
Around Conroe
A familiar Christmas tradition gets a new organizer
The Downtown Conroe Association is taking over the Conroe Christmas Parade following the disbanding of the Conroe Noon Kiwanis Club.
The parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 12, at noon, with an “Americana Christmas” theme. For families who make it an annual outing, the important news is that the tradition is continuing under new leadership.
Coffee with the people behind our municipal court
The city announced a chance to meet Judge Maddux and the municipal court staff over coffee and pastries during Municipal Court Week.
The free gathering is Tuesday, November 3, from 10–11 a.m. at Conroe Municipal Court, 2300 Plantation Drive. It’s open to the public and offers a relaxed way to learn what the court does and meet the people who work there.
Things to Do

Make room for Sunday brunch downtown

Worth a Look
Spectators opens in Grand Central Park
There’s a new option for dinner or watching a game: Spectators Bar & Grill opened October 13th at 1259 Grand Central Parkway.
The opening announcement lists burgers, wings, a hot-honey chicken sandwich, and a children’s menu, along with 40 televisions and patio seating. Weekend brunch is also planned.
For nearby residents, that adds another casual dining option without heading south toward The Woodlands.
